"After Lauren's first show as a Performance Program student, my husband, son and I were convinced we needed to look into ownership," said Michelle Tauraso, co-owner of School of Rock Palm City. "We saw firsthand what the program does for kids, and we wanted to bring that to our community here in Palm City."
The Tauraso-Schoen family had long kept a vacation home in the area. When they learned School of Rock was searching for a passionate owner in the territory, Patrick retired from his long-standing career at American Airlines and the family relocated permanently to open the school. It's a venture built on shared passion; Michelle is a music lover who took piano lessons as a child, Steven plays guitar, drums, trombone, and cello, and Lauren, now an alumna who found her confidence through School of Rock, plays drums.
