GET READY TO ROCK: SCHOOL OF ROCK BLAINE CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING ON APRIL 18

Live Music, Community Fun, and Hands-On Experiences at Blaine’s Performance-Based Music School

BLAINE, MN – School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, is excited to announce the grand opening of its first location in Blaine, Minnesota. The free, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1420 109th Avenue Northeast, Suite 104, Blaine, MN 55449.

The celebration will feature guided tours of the school, trial lessons, live performances by student bands, face painting, brain games provided by local business Learning RX, and more, giving attendees a firsthand look at the school’s dynamic, performance-driven approach to music education.

School of Rock Blaine is owned by Joe Grieman, who brings a lifelong passion for music and experience in music education to the local community. Before becoming a School of Rock owner, Joe served as Director of Operations for an audiovisual (AV) company and was also a co-owner of another local music school, where he worked closely with young musicians to help them grow their skills and confidence.

“I wanted to bring School of Rock to my community because I saw a chance to give local kids the same excitement and opportunities in music that I’ve always loved,” said Grieman. “It’s about creating a place where they can learn, perform, and discover the joy of music in a fun, supportive environment.”

Joe first discovered School of Rock through social media, following Jora Bart’s journey as she opened her School of Rock location in Plymouth, MN. Seeing the program's impact on students’ musical skills and confidence inspired him to bring that model to Blaine.

“Joe represents the passion and dedication that make our schools so special,” said Stacey Ryan, President of School of Rock. “His personal connection to music, combined with his experience in operations and leadership, will create an inspiring environment where students in Blaine can grow as musicians and as people through our performance-based approach. Just as importantly, his journey reflects the strength of our community, where passionate owners inspire others to bring School of Rock to new cities and help even more students experience the power of music.”

School of Rock Blaine offers music programs for all skill levels and age groups, from kids as young as five years old to adults. Students receive weekly one-on-one instruction on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals, and participate in group rehearsals that culminate in live performances at real venues. School of Rock’s patented performance-based model builds musical skills while fostering life skills like creativity, resilience, and teamwork.
